Artseeker Gallery Opens in Brooklyn: 600+ Artworks and a Fiery Debut with Warmth on Canvas

Our inaugural exhibition at Artseeker Gallery, held from December 19–27 in the heart of Brooklyn, marked the beginning of an exciting journey for our new art space. This event wasn’t just about showcasing art; it was about building connections, fostering inspiration, and creating a platform for talented artists from all over the world.

Q&A with Viktoriia Isaeva, Founder of Artseeker Gallery

Q: What inspired you to open Artseeker Gallery and host this first exhibition?

Viktoriia: "The idea of Artseeker Gallery has been a dream of mine for years. I wanted to create a space where artists from different backgrounds could come together and share their voices with a global audience. This first exhibition was a celebration of that dream, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start."

Q: How did you choose the artists for this exhibition?

Viktoriia: "We aimed to represent diversity in style, medium, and themes. Each artist brings a unique perspective, whether it’s through bold abstractions, delicate realism, or conceptual works. These 30 talented artists have set the bar incredibly high for what Artseeker Gallery is all about."

Q: You’ve been active online since 2022 on platforms like Artsy, Artsper, eBay, and others. Why did you decide to open a physical gallery?

Viktoriia: "Online platforms have been fantastic for connecting with a global audience, but there’s something irreplaceable about experiencing art in person. A physical gallery allows us to create a community, host live events, and foster deeper connections between artists and collectors. It’s about building a space where art comes alive, where people can gather, and where creativity thrives in real time."

Q: Viktoriia, you’re not only the director of Artseeker Gallery but also an artist yourself. How do you manage to balance these roles, and were your own works included in this exhibition?

Viktoriia: "That’s a great question! Balancing both roles is definitely a challenge, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. As a gallery director, I’m focused on curating, organizing, and promoting other artists, which is a passion of mine. At the same time, creating my own art keeps me grounded and connected to the creative process. For this exhibition, I was honored to include some of my own works alongside the incredible pieces from other artists. It’s a unique feeling to contribute to an event that means so much to me, both as an organizer and as a creative."

Our inaugural exhibition featured an incredible range of artwork — from thought-provoking abstract pieces to intricate sculptures. Visitors had the opportunity to meet the artists, delve into their creative processes, and even take home some exceptional works. Each piece told its own story, inviting viewers to explore themes of identity, resilience, and the human condition.
