Swiss precision, performance and style define Capranea, a premium ski and lifestyle apparel brand originated in the mountains of Graubünden now available worldwide. Choosing a product by Capranea means making no compromises. All materials and components have been carefully selected to provide maximum functionality and comfort. The materials used are exceptionally lightweight and soft. Particular attention is paid to freedom of movement.

Capranea was founded by Marc Haensli whose lineage leads to the advent of modern-day skiing. His father Walter Haensli along with legend Howard Head co-developed Head Skiing that elevated the sport and lifestyle on a global level. Marc grew up with the entrepreneurial spirit of his father with a commitment to innovation, authenticity and fun that is manifested throughout the Capranea collection.

Made in Europe in the world’s most exclusive luxury apparel factories and named after the Latin reference to the resident ibex that roam the area, each ski jacket and pant prioritizes insulated four-way stretch comfort and weather protection achieved through the incorporation of Japanese- and European-made fabrics that are soft at hand yet fully shelter the body from cold, wind and snow. Distinct yet understated, the winter sports collection effortlessly transitions between on-snow activities and everyday life.

The defining look of the Capranea collection is characterized by the use of materials that are rare in the performance apparel industry. This creates a fascinating play between contour and structure nuanced by color input that resides between restrained urban and strikingly sporty.

Warmth in each of the outerwear products is ensured through premium insulations from responsibly sourced 750-fill-power goose down, to Primaloft Black and Capranea’s own Pinneco wool-blend padding that delivers enhanced body temperature regulation without overheating.
