The interiors are warm rather than formal. The refit was about refreshing rather than reinventing, with furniture and finishing commissioned specifically for COME PRIMA and much of the work carried out in Turkey.
It is an interesting detail on a yacht built in Italy. Turkey has become one of the world’s leading centres of superyacht craftsmanship, and that expertise is increasingly evident in the quality of work coming from its yards and specialist workshops.
On COME PRIMA, it has been applied to the details that make a yacht feel personal: the furniture, the finishes and the spaces in between. The result feels made for this yacht rather than selected for it.
Following the Day
One of the pleasures of having almost 50 metres at your disposal is that the day does not need to happen in one place.
The sundeck naturally draws people outside, with its jacuzzi, bar and generous sunbathing areas. There is space for everyone without the feeling of being crowded. Breakfast can linger here, an afternoon can disappear between the sun and the water, and there is always another quiet corner for someone who would rather read than join the conversation.
As the light begins to soften, the Upper Deck aft offers another setting altogether. Dinner is served outside, the yacht lies at anchor and the scenery does most of the decorating. It is easy to imagine the table filling slowly, conversation continuing long after the sun has disappeared.
