The usual assumption is that the battery is dying, but the real culprit is often the charging system. How your electrical system handles audio


Your alternator generates power while the engine runs, and the battery stores a reserve. A stock alternator is sized for the factory electronics, typically somewhere between roughly 100 and 160 amps.
