GG&A Is the Go-to Studio for Luxury Architecture Design Solutions in Argentina
In 1991, Andy Gamberg and Verónica Gerszkowicz set themselves on a mission to open an architecture studio. Today, precisely 30 years ago, their seed, Gamberg Gerszkowicz Salas & Asociados (GG&A), has grown to become one of the leading design firms. So vast is GG&A’s credibility that the business is renown not just in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, but across the entire nation.
Soledad Salas joined Gamberg and Gerszkowicz at the firm in 2006 and became a partner. Today, GG&A has highly qualified employees who work alongside the three partners to create masterful designs that consistently exceed the expectations of clients. Their work spans residential, commercial and retail projects.
According to Gerszkowicz, “it is from the dynamic and authentic relationships we enjoy with our clients that we are able to produce the work that we do. Work that is rich in identity and purpose”. At GG&A, three important values underpin their work: modernity, functionality and sensitivity. Each of their designs – and the textures, reliefs, lines and finishes they use – speak to these concepts. Sensitivity is in particular reference to their client relationships and the approach that GG&A adopts, of which they are very proud.
GG&A boasts a majority women team. For each member, the desire to create multi-sensory spaces is strong. This explains how they are able to produce exceptional designs. Award-winning designs that is. In 2021, Luxury Lifestyle Awards crowned GG&A the Best Luxury Architect Studio in Argentina in recognition of its sophisticated and inspired execution of design solutions.
Indeed, Gerszkowicz, Salas and the rest of the GG&A specialists are not afraid to stretch the limits of their creativity to design work that is emotive and expressive. To do this, they rely a lot on materials that are natural; materials that are sustainable and that help clients remember their connection the environment around us. “Materials are everything for us, they express, transmit life, strength and power,” says Salas.
This year marks GG&A’s 30th anniversary. Over the past decades, the studio has gone from strength to strength. There is no doubt that they will continue to produce masterful work that elevates the standard of architecture in Buenos Aires and Argentina at large.
