Each year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) sets the tone for the global superyacht industry—and this year’s 66th edition was no exception. From the newly revitalized Las Olas Marina to the debut of the reimagined Pier Sixty-Six resort, the show delivered a refreshed luxury landscape befitting the world’s largest in-water boat show. With more than 100,000 attendees, 1,300 vessels on display, and an estimated economic impact of $1.79 billion, FLIBS once again affirmed Fort Lauderdale’s status as the “Yachting Capital of the World.”

Returning this year to the show was renowned brokerage Fraser Yachts, which offers expert services across every sector of luxury yachting. The firm has seen healthy overall brokerage growth of 5% year-on-year in both transaction numbers and value—a reflection of increasing market confidence at the very top of the yachting world. “We are seeing a strong segment of purchases in the big yachts sector,” shared Mike Busacca, Chief Operating Officer of Fraser. “Everybody wants to move into Florida. The wealth between Miami and Palm Beach is more than I have ever seen.”

Among Fraser’s impressive display, one yacht drew particular attention from seasoned Owners and collectors alike: the 60-meter KAISER, one of the finest motor yachts ever built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen

A Collector’s Superyacht of Northern European Pedigree

Offered for sale for the first time by her original Owner, KAISER represents a rare confluence of exceptional build quality and timeless design. Delivered in 2011, this 196-foot superyacht pairs Donald Starkey’s elegant exterior profile with a bespoke Bannenberg & Rowell interior defined by rich textures, bold tones, and masterful craftsmanship. With only one season of private use, she remains in immaculate condition—a museum-quality collector’s yacht built for connoisseurs of true yachting pedigree.

Designed for ultimate privacy and comfort, KAISER accommodates 12 guests across six staterooms, including a striking full-beam Owner’s Suite featuring a private lounge, panoramic windows, and his-and-hers ensuites. A convertible full-beam VIP on the lower deck and a versatile bridge-deck suite—ideal for staff, office use, or wellness treatments—underscore the yacht’s thoughtful layout and lifestyle versatility.

Her amenities rival those of a private resort: a generous beach club with sauna and dayhead, a fully appointed gym, a hot tub on the expansive sundeck, multiple al-fresco lounges, and a cinematic skylounge perfect for evenings at sea. Walkaround decks and discreet tender storage further enhance the onboard experience, emphasizing seamless movement and elegant outdoor living.

Technically, KAISER stands as a testament to German engineering excellence. Built to Lloyd’s Commercial Class, LY2, and Cayman flag standards, she cruises at 14 knots with a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles, powered by twin Caterpillar engines for effortless blue-water capability.

Offered for an asking price of $49,000,000, KAISER presents exceptional value per gross ton for a yacht of her size, specification, and heritage.
