Yes, a stay at MannaBay includes butler service, now how is that for luxury! There is no formal check-in, as they bring everything to the guest while they are enjoying your welcome beverage. Once guests have been checked-in they are promptly escorted to their room or suite.

There are seven luxury rooms and one suite, the Versailles Suite. Each room is uniquely different and has a theme, which includes the Black & White, Orchid, Explorer, Persian, Oriental, Pom Pom, and Flamingo room. The individually designed rooms add to the hotel's character. Only 16 guests can be accommodated at one time to ensure maximum attention is afforded to each guest.

The rooms have extra-long, king-size beds, which can be converted into twin beds, except the Versailles Suite, an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in showers. The Versailles Suite and the Flamingo Room both have free-standing tubs and showers.

Rooms also come equipped with flat-screen television and an interactive media center, with satellite and a host of movies and music available, all operated from the iPod in the room. There is also an iPod docking station, air-conditioning, under-floor heating in the bathroom and bedroom, a safe, WIFI, and hairdryer. The hotel also provides Africology toiletries, books, cards, board games, and a beach bag and towel to its guests.

The incredible Versailles Suite is often booked for honeymooners or brides-to-be to prepare for their wedding day. However, anyone can book this stunningly beautiful suite with the most magnificent views over Cape Town. You’ll enjoy the same luxury amenities that are offered in the guest rooms in addition to a complimentary stocked mini-bar, espresso coffee machine and coffee pods, mini library and office, dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. The highlight of the suite, in addition to the city views, is the private rooftop terrace complete with a Bali bed and loungers. This is ideal for intimate sundowners for two or cocktails with a few close friends or family.

Also, included in your stay at MannaBay are breakfast, house drinks, butler service (as mentioned previously), concierge services, WIFI, dinner transfers, and a guest favorite, Afternoon High Tea. If you have never experienced a High Tea in Cape Town, or anywhere else for that matter, start with High Tea at MannaBay. This alone is worth staying here. The High Tea is incredible! The food and pastries are prepared daily by the chef and her team so that everything is fresh. It offers a variety of sweet and savory options and includes a glass of Graham Beck rose, Methodé Cap Classique, tea, coffee or juices. High Tea is served daily from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM. If you’re hosting a special event of 16 people or less, High Tea at MannaBay is a wonderful option to consider, as they will accommodate private functions.

If you’re not keen on going out and you simply want to lounge around and take a day off from sightseeing, you can do it from the comfort of the MannaBay Hotel. The property also includes several lounge areas that are ideal for relaxing and taking in the picturesque views, or reading a book from the hotel library. There is a swimming pool to enjoy or just lounge by, in addition to a deck area for sunbathing and enjoying the sweeping views of Cape Town. There is a media center, gym, and Boma area, also on the property.
