World-renowned Lake Louise Ski Resort is located just five minutes from the hotel and easily accessible via a private complimentary shuttle. With Lake Louise’s spectacular scenery, pristine wilderness setting and more than 4200 acres of world class ski terrain; the ski resort is considered one of Canada’s finest! Visitors can expect a ski season spanning November to May, beginner, intermediate and advanced runs from every chair and over 30 ft snowfall annually.


After an exciting day on the slopes enjoy the perfect après with fine dining and fresh market cuisine available throughout Post Hotel. In the Dining Room, the marriage of food and wine thrives. Surround yourself with Canadian pine, fresh flowers, sparkling crystal, and the warm glow of the grand fireplace while you savour the exquisite talents of the hotel’s international cooking team led by European-trained Executive Chef Hans Sauter. Located beneath the dining room, the hotel’s award-winning wine cellar features a vast array of 20,500 bottles comprising of over 2500 labels. Surrounded by rack-filled walls, the main area of the cellar features a beautiful, custom-made table, ideal for special wine tastings and private dinners of up to 14 guests. Smaller storage areas in the cellar are cordoned-off with antique wrought-iron gates, each section housing carefully chosen treasures from the world’s greatest wine regions. Post Hotels’ wine cellar has been awarded the Wine Spectator’s Grand Award for 21 consecutive years, demonstrating an uncompromising passion and devotion to the quality of its wine program.
