Our all-new 670 LXS is the world’s largest outboard powered yacht. The 670 LXS is the first in the 67 LX Series and was designed in partnership with world renown super yacht design studio Harrison Eidsgaard. Scout’s flagship series will encompass three unique models: the 670 LXF (Luxury Fish Model); the 670 LXS (Luxury Sport Model); and the 670 LXC (Luxury Cruiser Model).

Powered by (4) quad or (5) quint Mercury V-12 600 HP engines, the five-engine set-up offers 3,000 HP and an approximate top speed of 60 MPH, a fast cruise of 40 MPH, and a range of approximately 500 miles.

“We’ve experienced tremendous success over the years as we’ve continued to create and produce the most exciting, innovative, sophisticated, and high performing products sought on the market today, and that’s been most recently evident with the success of our current 530 LXF flagship,” said Scout CEO/Founder Steve Potts. “We want to continue to raise the industry bar for class, comfort, and style and naturally we knew the next evolution for the Scout brand was the 670 LX Series. Our dedicated team of designers and engineers, coupled with our partnership with world-renown UK-based super yacht design studio Harrison Eidsgaard has worked tirelessly on this project, developing a product that is second to no other boat in its market and that is what sets it apart.”

Featuring three state rooms below deck, three interior color options, multiple lounge areas throughout the boat, articulating rocket launchers with a SureShade, retractable port, starboard, and aft window, a retractable sunroof, dual hydraulic beach platforms, and so much more the all-new 670 LXS takes the innovation and luxury Scout is known for to an all-new level.

“We were thrilled when Scout Boats approached us on collaborating on this project.” says Peder Eidsgaard, one of the founders of Harrison Eidsgaard, the London-based design company who worked with Scout Boats on the exterior and interior design of this new flagship.

“It is the result of the synergy between Scout Boats’ vast experience in the sport fishing market combined with Harrison Eidsgaard’s experience in the superyacht design industry and drive to innovate. The design is a harmony of Scout Boats’ sport fish heritage injected with superyacht detailing and styling, with key features comprising of long flowing lines from bow to aft in combination with the signature aft leg that runs into the hardtop ‘pods’.”

The 670 LX Series project has been internally referred to by Scout as “Project Everest” since it began inception in 2021 and has been produced with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques that Scout has utilized at its facility for years and continues to pioneer.

“We’ve poured everything we have into this new flagship, and we are excited that the public can now see what we have spent the last three years developing,” continued Potts. “This model is not just for our customers who want to move up from the 530 LXF. This model elevates the entire Scout lineup, and we have no doubt that some of the innovative developed for this model will trickle down into the full model line.’
