Every year during the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, the Principality transforms into the center of the international social calendar. Superyachts line Port Hercule, luxury maisons host exclusive soirées, and Monaco’s streets pulse with the energy of one of the world’s most iconic sporting events. Yet beyond the circuit itself, one destination has become synonymous with the spirit of the weekend: SUNSET.
Returning from June 5 to 7, 2026, for its 13th edition, SUNSET once again takes over the beach of Le Méridien Beach Plaza, bringing together music, gastronomy, art and Riviera lifestyle in an atmosphere unlike anywhere else during Grand Prix weekend.
Originally imagined as a private gathering, SUNSET has evolved into one of Monaco’s most sought-after experiences. Created by Monaco-based entrepreneurs Thomas Peeters and Cédric Houdrouge, the concept has built its reputation at the crossroads of electronic music culture, luxury lifestyle and Mediterranean freedom.

What sets SUNSET apart is its distinctive energy. While Monaco during Grand Prix weekend is often associated with formal exclusivity, SUNSET embraces a more relaxed and immersive atmosphere. Guests gather barefoot on the sand, cocktails in hand, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea as international DJs soundtrack the celebrations from afternoon until late into the night.
For 2026, SUNSET enters a new chapter with the launch of Casa SUNSET x Mauro Colagreco, an exceptional collaboration with the acclaimed chef behind Mirazur in Menton. Holding eight Michelin stars across his restaurants and internationally recognized for his creative culinary vision, Mauro Colagreco brings a new gastronomic dimension to the SUNSET experience.
Conceived as an open-air dining destination facing the sea, Casa SUNSET x Mauro Colagreco introduces a tasting menu in four acts inspired by some of the chef’s most emblematic dishes. The collaboration merges fine dining with the vibrant and festive spirit that defines SUNSET.
“During the Monaco Grand Prix, the city becomes an open-air theater — vibrant, international,” says Mauro Colagreco. “With Casa SUNSET, we wanted to create something entirely new: a fine-dining restaurant in the open air, with cuisine at the highest level, more festive, in tune with the singular energy of that weekend.”

The culinary experience is designed to evolve naturally throughout the evening. Beginning as an intimate seaside dinner, Casa SUNSET gradually transforms into an after-party destination where guests continue the night surrounded by music, art and the unmistakable Riviera atmosphere that has made SUNSET iconic.
The 2026 edition also introduces a fully reimagined scenography and a reinvented La Petite Plage concept. Designed with a stronger identity and freer energy, the new beach space will host a secondary stage where local DJs shape the atmosphere from sunset onwards. Graphic installations, flowers, cacti, glossy materials and artistic elements create a visual universe that feels both immersive and contemporary.
At the center of the venue, a circular bar anchors the experience while additional features — including a juicery, activations along the beach and a dedicated cold bath area overlooking the sea — reinforce SUNSET’s lifestyle-driven approach.
Music remains central to the DNA of the event. SUNSET’s carefully curated line-up combines internationally recognized artists with emerging talents and local Riviera DJs, creating an atmosphere designed to feel spontaneous yet sophisticated. According to co-founder Cédric Houdrouge, the artist selection is approached with precision, always guided by the desire to create moments where “the music, the setting and the crowd become one.”
Beyond music and gastronomy, SUNSET continues to strengthen its cultural identity through contemporary art. This year, the event will host an exclusive exhibition by French artist Fred Allard, featuring several monumental works drawn from both his personal collection and his galleries in Monaco and Nice. Some previously unseen pieces will be presented publicly for the first time during the event.

Over the years, SUNSET has also become a magnet for celebrities, athletes and international personalities drawn to its unique atmosphere. Guests including Justin Bieber, Bella Hadid, Adrien Brody, Jason Derulo, Bob Sinclar, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Matteo Berrettini have all been spotted at SUNSET, reinforcing its status as one of the defining social destinations of Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
More than a party, SUNSET has established itself as a complete Riviera experience — one that captures the essence of Monaco through music, gastronomy, art and celebration. As Formula 1 returns to the Principality in June 2026, SUNSET once again promises to be where the worlds of luxury, culture and nightlife meet beside the Mediterranean.
