The New Bentley Continental GT — Made in England, Built for England's Roads

Crewe's Masterpiece

The Bentley Continental GT has been in continuous production since 2003, and in that time it has become the definitive expression of what a British grand tourer should be — powerful enough to cover the length of England before lunch, refined enough to arrive without a crease in the suit, and beautiful enough that the arriving is worth noticing.

The current generation Continental GT, updated for 2026 with revised powertrain options, an enhanced infotainment system, and a level of interior personalisation through the Mulliner programme that approaches genuine coachbuilding, represents the model at its most accomplished.

The Powertrain

The Continental GT's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 542 horsepower in standard specification and delivers it through Bentley's eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a smoothness and authority that reflects decades of refinement. The 0-60 time of 4.0 seconds is delivered without drama — the Continental GT does not perform acceleration, it simply arrives at speed.

For those who require more, the W12 configuration — 626 horsepower, 3.7-second 0-60, a top speed of 207 mph — elevates the Continental GT into a different conversation entirely. The W12 engine, unique to Bentley and produced at Crewe, is one of the great British automotive achievements.

England's Roads — The Perfect Stage

England's road network contains some of the most beautiful driving roads in the world — and the Continental GT is the ideal car for them. The B roads of the Cotswolds. The moorland roads of Yorkshire and Devon. The coastal routes of Cornwall. The Pennine drives. These roads reward a car that is capable of genuine pace but whose character at moderate speeds is equally compelling.

Bentley has been making cars in Crewe since 1946. The Continental GT is eighty years of that experience distilled into its most accessible and most complete expression.
