The New Pardo 43R - Walkaround Living with a Sportier Edge

Pardo Yachts presented the new Pardo 43R at the Miami International Boat Show 2026, marking the world debut of the outboard version of one of the most recognizable walkarounds in the 14-metre segment. The Pardo 43R brings together the signature Italian style of Pardo Yachts with an outboard propulsion setup focused on performance.

The Pardo 43R builds on the legacy of the iconic Pardo 43, a model that since its launch in 2017 has redefined the walkaround category with its reverse bow, sleek lines, and a pure walkaround layout, achieving more than 330 units delivered worldwide.

Far from being a simple refresh, the Pardo 43R has been developed around a dedicated hull specifically optimized for outboard engines. Power comes from up to three Mercury V12 outboards rated at 600 hp each (the standard option is three Mercury V10s with 400 hp each), allowing the yacht to reach top speeds beyond 50 knots. This new propulsion setup gives the platform a more dynamic, performance-oriented character, conceived for owners looking for higher speeds and a more engaging helm experience.

Walkaround living with a sportier edge

On deck, the new Pardo 43R retains the brand’s clean, low-profile silhouette and single-level walkaround, allowing safe and fluid movement throughout the deck. Forward, a large sunbed paired with a bow-facing bench creates a distinct lounging area. Aft, the cockpit retains the same social layout as the new inboard Pardo 43, with opposing sofas and an extendable table converting into a sunpad. The key difference lies at the transom: while the tender garage is maintained, the swim platform has been redesigned with an integrated outboard engine well. Overhead, a carbon-fiber T-top integrates seamlessly with the windshield, with an optional electric bimini extending shade aft for added comfort in warm climates.

Below deck, the Pardo 43R offers bright, well-balanced interiors defined by simplicity and functionality. Large hull windows bring abundant natural light into the living spaces, while carefully selected fabrics and woods express the brand’s understated Made in Italy approach. The interior layout features a forward V-berth cabin, which can be converted into a dinette, and a midship guest area with twin berths, both served by a bathroom located on the starboard side.

Two ways to experience the new Pardo 43

While the inboard Pardo 43 prioritizes balanced cruising efficiency, extended range, and smooth IPS handling with top speeds around 37 knots, the 43R trades some endurance for outright performance, delivering higher top speeds, more responsive handling, and a visceral driving experience - all while preserving the social and outdoor living spaces that have made the Pardo 43 a true benchmark.

For owners, the choice reflects lifestyle: the inboard version is perfect for coastal cruising and longer overnight trips, whereas the Pardo 43R appeals to those seeking thrilling day cruises, speed, and simplified maintenance.
