Destined for the Strip: Why Las Vegas and the Vanderpump Brand are a Natural Fit

Lisa Vanderpump is more than just a reality show legend. Her big move featured on Bravo’s biggest series yet, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ Long before the reality TV cameras arrived in 2009, Lisa Vanderpump was already building a hospitality empire.

Now the British restaurateur is taking her biggest swing yet, partnering with Caesars Entertainment to transform The Cromwell into a fully immersive boutique hotel built around the Vanderpump vibe. On top of that, a new Vanderpump Rules spinoff set inside her first-ever hotel is in the works.

For a brand built on glamour and indulgence, the Strip was always the inevitable destination.

Lisa Vanderpump Makes Caesars Entertainment History

While Lisa and her husband and business partner, Ken Todd, have been building their hospitality empire for more than 30 years, her Caesars Entertainment story began in the spring of 2019.

This marked her first venture with Caesars Palace, where she launched the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. It was a promising start whose immense success culminated in the Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas (2022), Pinky’s by Vanderpump at the Flamingo (2024), and WOLF by Vanderpump at Harveys and Lake Tahoe.

Now, for the first time in Caesars Entertainment's storied history on the Strip, one of its hotel properties will have a celebrity name. The Cromwell, a boutique hotel sitting at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, is being reimagined as The Vanderpump Hotel. A landmark moment for Lisa personally, and also for what celebrity lifestyle and entertainment brands can look like when a partnership is built on genuine industry credibility.

And the momentum does not stop there. According to Casino.com, a brand-new Bravo series titled ‘Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas’ is currently in the works, set to be filmed inside The Vanderpump Hotel itself.

If the original ‘Vanderpump Rules’ built its loyal following inside SUR Restaurant in West Hollywood, this next chapter promises something bigger. On ‘Lisa Las Vegas’, expect a front-row seat to Lisa's most ambitious venture yet, set against the backdrop of the city that never sleeps.

The Vanderpump Empire is Bigger Than You Think

For anyone who assumes Lisa Vanderpump's world begins and ends with a glass of rosé and a Bravo camera crew, think again. The woman has spent decades quietly stacking ventures in every direction, and the full picture is genuinely impressive.

Long before she was pouring wine on reality television, Lisa was actually acting in it. Her on-screen career stretches back to the 1970s, with film and television appearances in John Halifax, Katy, Gentleman, and Killer’s Moon. She also had a memorable stint as a music video vixen in ABC's music video ‘Poison Arrow’ back in the eighties. Hollywood called early, but she just chose hospitality instead.

Speaking of wine, Vanderpump Rosé has become something of a cultural signature. Born out of the family's years living in the South of France and their deep appreciation for Provençal winemaking, the label has since expanded beyond rosé into Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside a Vanderpump Vodka line for good measure.

Then there is the work closest to her heart. In 2016, Lisa and Ken launched ‘The Vanderpump Dogs Foundation’, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of dogs globally. This Foundation comes with its very own rescue center in West Hollywood, helping match dogs with their forever families. The cause even spawned its own Peacock series in 2021.

Rounding out the empire is a home décor and lighting collection designed in collaboration with creative director Nick Alain, a lifestyle blog she has run with her daughter since 2012, and a 12+ month stint as editor-in-chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.

In short, the hotels are just the headline. The empire was already well underway.

Why Las Vegas is Perfect for the Vanderpump Universe

When ‘Vanderpump Rules’ first aired in 2013 as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, few could have predicted just how far that universe would stretch. Over a decade later, it has expanded into an entire ecosystem, which now includes Vanderpump Dogs, Vanderpump Villa, Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, The Valley, and The Valley: Persian Style, to name a few.

Each extension has found its own audience by rooting itself in a specific world with a specific energy. Las Vegas, then, is not a departure from that formula. But rather, the fullest expression of it.

Because if there is one city on earth that mirrors the Vanderpump brand, from the spectacle to the glamour, to the unapologetic indulgence, it is surely Las Vegas. A hotel on the Strip is the most natural backdrop Lisa Vanderpump has had as of yet.

With a heavyweight production team behind ‘Lisa Las Vegas’ and a real hotel empire providing the setting, this is a Vanderpump era built on something more than television drama. It is built on two decades of genuine industry experience finally arriving at its most fitting stage.
