In the increasingly crowded world of American whiskey, few new labels have managed to break through with both credibility and character as quickly as ROW 94. Launched by country music star Dierks Bentley, the Kentucky straight bourbon has, in just over a year, earned a reputation that blends craftsmanship with accessibility—an uncommon pairing in today’s premium spirits market.

Now entering its second year, ROW 94 is accelerating its national expansion alongside the release of its latest limited-edition expression, Broken Branches. The timing aligns with Bentley’s upcoming Off the Map summer tour, positioning the bourbon not just as a product, but as a companion to a lifestyle rooted in music, travel, and shared experience.

At the heart of ROW 94’s appeal is its balance of quality and price. The flagship bourbon, retailing at $39.99, recently received an impressive 94-point rating from Wine Enthusiast—a distinction rarely awarded to bottles in its price category. The publication praised its layered profile, noting a spicy finish marked by clove, cinnamon, and cayenne, softened by a subtle salinity that lingers on the palate.

Such accolades are not incidental. ROW 94 is produced in partnership with Lofted Custom Spirits at Green River Distilling Co., one of Kentucky’s oldest licensed distilleries. The Owensboro-based facility, steeped in bourbon heritage, provides both the technical expertise and historic setting that underpin the brand’s authenticity.

The new Broken Branches release builds on this foundation while introducing a more experimental approach. Bottled at 100 proof and aged for five years, the bourbon undergoes a distinctive “branch aging” process. In this method, fire-toasted oak staves—seasoned for up to 24 months—are added to the barrels, deepening the whiskey’s complexity and imparting nuanced layers of flavor. The result is a richer, more contemplative expression designed for seasoned bourbon enthusiasts.

Initially introduced as a limited release, Broken Branches is now expanding its footprint across key markets including Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. With a suggested retail price of $99.99, it occupies a more premium tier within the ROW 94 portfolio, appealing to collectors and connoisseurs alike.

Alongside Broken Branches, the brand continues to broaden its range. ROW 94 Full Proof, bottled at 120 proof and aged a minimum of four years, offers an uncut, high-intensity expression that contrasts with the smoother, more approachable flagship. Despite its boldness, it has been recognized for its balance, earning a Gold medal at Fred Minnick’s Ascot Awards—one of several industry honors that the brand has accumulated in a short span.

This integration of music and spirits is not new, but ROW 94 distinguishes itself through its grounding in authenticity. Rather than relying solely on celebrity association, it leans into craftsmanship, heritage, and a clear point of view. The brand’s tagline—“Three Ingredients and The Truth”—speaks to this simplicity, emphasizing transparency and quality.
