THIS WEEK'S AUTOMOTIVE LEAD — THE 2027 PORSCHE 911 GT3 S/C

Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 S/C — and it is exactly what the GT3 faithful have been waiting for. Sport Cabriolet. Open-top. Manual only. The 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 502 horsepower, revving to 9,000 rpm, and available exclusively with the six-speed GT Sport manual transmission. No automatic option. No apology for it.

The GT3 S/C weighs just 3,322 pounds despite its fully automatic soft top — a figure achieved through carbon fibre fenders, doors, and hood borrowed from the 911 S/T, magnesium wheels, and PCCB ceramic brakes standard. The result is an open-air sports car with double wishbone front suspension — a first for any convertible 911 — and driving dynamics that Porsche's own GT director describes as unlike anything previously available in an open-top car.

Base price: $273,000. US deliveries expected fall 2026. For those who believe the manual gearbox is not a compromise but the point — this is the car. Full feature at ElevatedMagazines.com.

YACHT CHARTER OF THE WEEK — KOGO, EAST MEDITERRANEAN

This week's charter spotlight is KOGO — a 71.7-metre motor yacht available through Burgess Yachts that represents one of the finest charter opportunities currently on the market. Originally delivered by French shipyard Alstom Leroux Naval in 2006, KOGO emerged from a comprehensive 2025 refit and is fully renewed for the summer season. She won the World Superyacht of the Year award in 2007 — an accolade that speaks to the calibre of her Tim Heywood exterior design and Terence Disdale interior, with what Disdale describes as clean modern lines with a Zen influence.

KOGO accommodates 12 guests across 7 cabins attended by a crew of 21. The amenity list is exceptional — dedicated spa with massage and steam room, gym, outdoor cinema on the bridge deck, sun deck pool, beach club, and a tender and toys package that includes four Waverunners, two eFoils, two SeaBobs, and a flyboard. Charter rates begin from EUR 595,000 per week for the East Mediterranean. BurgessYachts.com.

LUXURY REAL ESTATE — LISTING OF THE WEEK

17000 West Sunset Boulevard, Pacific Palisades — $17,500,000. This is not a conventional listing. It is a 2.75-acre trophy coastal landholding in Pacific Palisades commanding an extraordinary 270-degree panorama of ocean, canyon, and coastline — one of the last large-scale view-driven parcels available along the Palisades bluffs. Under current executive order programs, the site supports a streamlined path to a 7,000 to 15,000 square foot compound estate without Coastal Commission approvals. Ownership has commissioned conceptual renderings by Gensler — the world's largest global architecture firm — illustrating a modern coastal compound designed to maximise the site's commanding elevation. The parcel also supports approximately 39 residential units by-right under current zoning, with potential for up to 80 through density bonus incentives. Opportunities of this magnitude along the Pacific Palisades corridor are, as the listing correctly states, generational. Represented by Cindy Ambuehl, Christie's International Real Estate Los Angeles.

TRAVEL — MALTA OPENS TO AMERICA NONSTOP FOR THE FIRST TIME

For those who have been watching the Mediterranean luxury travel market closely, Malta has been the destination worth paying attention to — and this summer, it just became significantly more accessible.

Delta Air Lines launches the first-ever nonstop service between New York JFK and Malta beginning June 7, 2026, operating through October 23. For American travelers, this is a meaningful development.

Delta Vacations has simultaneously launched its first dedicated Malta program, allowing travelers to have the entire experience curated — hotels, transfers, experiences — through a single booking relationship. For those approaching Malta for the first time, that guidance is genuinely useful. The island rewards people who know what they're looking at.
