Flying Private, Like Never Before - flyExclusive

Inside flyExclusive’s new Jet Club - and how it rewrote what it now means to fly private.

There’s a particular pleasure in belonging to something deliberate. A club that means something. A space where the people inside have made the same considered choice you have.

Private aviation has been quietly losing that for a decade. Programs got bigger, the experience got thinner. Membership fees climbed yet blackout dates expanded. Quoted rates collected surcharges the way taxi meters collect minutes. Somewhere along the way, being a “member” of a flight program stopped meaning much at all beyond the membership fee.

flyExclusive’s Jet Club was built to mean something again.

The relaunched Jet Club is the most significant evolution of the program since its founding, and the changes are not surface level.  No monthly membership fee. No taxi-time charges. No de-icing fees, no fuel surcharges, no landing or repositioning fees buried in the back of a quote. The price you see is the price that you pay. Deposits don’t expire. Rates are protected for 24 months, and every replenishment resets the clock. The pricing structure is made up of two numbers - a day rate and an hourly rate - and the trip cost is exactly the math you’d do in your head.

“Built around a mandate of simplicity and transparency” is how the CEO, Jim Segrave, explains it. Read that as: every line item on your trip cost is something you actually used. Every dollar you deposit goes toward flying. Simplicity is its own kind of luxury. But clear pricing is only the beginning. What makes the Jet Club worth joining is everything that happens once you’re a member. Membership is built around a single principle: reaching us should be easy. Call, email, or book through the app, whichever you prefer.

Members work with a dedicated Member Services team that knows you. They know your routes, your preferences, the food your kids will actually eat, the ground transportation you want waiting in Aspen, the dog who flies with you. Or maybe the dog is the reason you fly private! (Yes, this happens frequently.) There is also an Owner app, because the pleasure of a phone call only goes so far, and sometimes you just want to tap a button at 11 p.m. and reposition Friday’s departure.

The team coordinates trip planning, schedule changes, and the small choreographies of getting you where you’re going.

Members fly across the full flyExclusive fleet of Light, Mid, and Super-Mid jets, from a Citation CJ3 for a long weekend to a Challenger 300 for a transcontinental cabin you can stand up in. Hawaii and Alaska are now on the map. Pets are not only welcome, but encouraged. Starlink Wi-Fi is complimentary. And most importantly, guaranteed access on high-demand days, with no blackouts. When it matters most, you fly.

What the program asks for is a deposit - $100,000 to join Jet Club. But those dollars go directly toward flight credit, no management fees. What you pay is what you fly. This means your private aviation feels less like a transaction and more like a relationship.

Service like that only works when the operation behind it is built to deliver, and few in private aviation are built like flyExclusive. The company operates more than 100 aircraft, which makes it the third-largest private jet operator in North America, with 43,458 departures and 73,783 flight hours behind it. Those aircraft are maintained by flyExclusive’s own people, in flyExclusive’s own hangars with maintenance services, paint, and avionics under one roof.

That’s rare in this industry, and it shows up in the details.

The pilots are full-time and type-rated to the specific aircraft they fly, trained to a standard that exceeds the FAA’s. flyExclusive carries the ARGUS Platinum rating of which fewer than 5% of U.S. charter operators hold, alongside Wyvern Wingman and IS-BAO.

This is what changes when a jet program is also a vertically integrated operator: the people serving you and the people maintaining your aircraft work for the same company, in the same building, toward the same standard.

The seams that usually appear in private aviation between operator and broker, between maintenance vendor and cabin crew don’t exist here. The whole experience is one company’s responsibility, which means it’s one company’s reputation.

It comes back to where this started: the pleasure of belonging to something deliberate. flyExclusive spent a decade building an operation worth belonging to, and now it’s better and even easier than ever before.

That’s what membership is supposed to feel like. Not a fee you pay for the privilege of paying more, but a relationship with a company that has every reason to get it right. The Jet Club was built on that idea.

Start Your Vacation Before You Land

The Jet Club isn’t the only way to fly with flyExclusive. When the place you’re going sits right on the water, there’s the Cessna Caravan. It’s the nicest of its kind amphibious seaplane that leaves from airports across South Florida and lands directly on the water in the Bahamas, no runway required when you get there. It can take you across Florida or to an array of Bahamian islands surrounded by crystal blue water.

That means no connection through Miami and no shuttle from an airport that’s nowhere near where you’re staying. And because we land on the water, we don’t need a dock at all. The Caravan can set down in open water and pull right up alongside your yacht, so you step off the plane and straight onto the decks, no marina or tender in between.

It seats up to eight, pets included, and the crew takes care of the customs and immigration paperwork along the way. It’s ARG/US Gold rated and flies with two pilots. The idea is that your vacation should start the moment you leave the ground.
