It features a relaxed 120-seat dining room and bar surround a double-height fireplace. There is something for everyone in The Barn – the kids, and kids at heart, will love the arcade, bowling alley, movie theater, arts and crafts, pottery kiln, fire pits, and cornhole.

“The Barn is the heart and soul of family life at Silo Ridge,” says Mike Meldman, Founder and Chairman of Discovery Land Company.

Farm-To-Table Cuisine

From elegant fine dining to casual fare, farm-to-table culinary is one of the most noticeable ways each community is sustainable. At Silo Ridge, residents enjoy the club’s bucolic lifestyle at the farm. They can have plots to grow their own produce in addition to what the property grows for the restaurants on-site. The chefs at Silo Ridge pride themselves by using fresh produce grown on-site as often as possible. There is a greenhouse for year-round cultivating, while chickens and goats provide fresh eggs and cheese. An apiary has been added as well, developing the honey used in the culinary program. The Hudson Valley’s vast countryside provides a home to apple orchards, fairy farms, and some of the country’s most renowned dining.

Silo Ridge Field Club is accessible by car or train leaving from Grand Central Station. The community sits among the top private schools in the country. Discovery’s vertical membership assures that grandparents and children have just as many opportunities for fun and memory making as members themselves.
