This unique and thrilling experience includes two days of heli skiing with Sun Valley Heli Ski and 2 days of resort skiing on world-famous Bald Mountain. Sun Valley Heli ski has exclusive helicopter access to an amazing playground of 750,000 square acres, by far the largest heli terrain in the lower 48 states. Catering to intermediate and expert skiers, guests generally ski 6 runs per day ranging from 1,000 to 3,500 vertical feet of pristine Idaho powder. Guests fly in an A-Star B3E, the unquestioned king of helicopters for helicopter skiing. Groups are small with a guest to guide ratio of 4:1.
Sun Valley, the first ski area in the western United States, is famously known for top notch skiing, shopping, arts, dining and a rich history. You may also see a few celebrities on the chairlift, in a store, restaurant or bar! Bald Mountain, or “Baldy” as the locals call it, is known for its long, winding, uninterrupted trails with open bowls and exceptional gladed skiing terrain. Lift lines are not an issue when you are in your own private Idaho.
Guests will stay at the new Limelight Hotel, located on Main Street in the heart of downtown, only three blocks from the base of Bald Mountain.
