The Pinnacle Jamaica marks a significant milestone for Jamaica's luxury hospitality landscape, and for the Caribbean's standing in the global luxury market. The ultra-luxury waterfront residential and lifestyle destination in Montego Bay is poised to redefine luxury living across Jamaica and the wider region.
Central to the projects is a partnership between LCH Developments and Ennismore, a joint venture with Accor, introducing two of Ennismore's globally recognized hospitality brands to Jamaica for the first time. The $450 million development brings together world-class accommodations, residences, dining, wellness, and entertainment in one address on Montego Bay's Reading Peninsula. The Pinnacle brings private ownership paired with hotel-caliber service to Jamaica for the first time as a master-planned coastal community overlooking Montego Bay Marine Park.
For Montego Bay, the project represents a new benchmark for integrated residential living, and a significant milestone in the city's evolution as a destination — one increasingly defined not only by its resorts, but by the kind of long-term residential investment and hospitality pedigree shaping luxury markets elsewhere in the Caribbean and beyond.
The peninsula is fringed with mangroves and extends into the 15-acre Montego Bay Marine Reserve, Jamaica's first declared Marine Protected Area, with views across the Caribbean Sea, the Bogue Islands, the lagoon, and the bay. The development comprises four towers — Swallowtail, Canary, Hummingbird, and Phoenix. One will operate as a 240-key luxury hotel; the remaining three will hold 417 residences, from one- to four-bedroom layouts to penthouses, along with 12 private villas. The first residential tower opens in May 2027, supported by 24-hour concierge, housekeeping, maintenance, and full lifestyle services.
At the center of the estate sits The Mangrove Club, a five-story private social and wellness hub with restaurants, bars, rooftop lounges, a private cinema, a cigar lounge, a mangrove-set spa, a fitness center, tennis and basketball courts, and resort-style pools. Nearby, a private marina, beach club, and lagoon landscape connect the development to Montego Bay's waterfront. The newly completed commercial center extends that integration further, with healthcare services, a salon, dry cleaning, and retail built to serve residents and the wider community.
Residence over visit is central to what The Pinnacle represents for the Jamaican diaspora, a community known for staying closely connected to home and carrying the island's culture with them wherever they've settled. The Pinnacle is designed to give that community a residence built to the same global standard as the cities they now call home, while remaining rooted in Jamaica. Interiors incorporate Jamaican art and craftsmanship, restaurants partner with Jamaican chefs, and a curated calendar of cultural programming brings together Jamaicans, the diaspora, and international residents alike.
Stewardship runs alongside that ambition. The Pinnacle sits within an existing mangrove forest, and the developer engaged Dr. Camilo Trench, a marine scientist at The University of the West Indies and author of Jamaica's National Mangrove and Swamp Forest Management Plan, early in the planning process to guide the project's ecological approach. Under his direction, the development has preserved 95 percent of the site's existing mangroves and built a nursery program that grows seedlings before replanting them across the wetland. The goal is not simply to limit disturbance but to leave the site with more mangrove coverage than it had to begin with — a distinction increasingly relevant in a country where these forests provide storm protection, water filtration, and carbon storage that would otherwise cost millions to replicate artificially.
Five miles from Sangster International Airport and two from central Montego Bay, The Pinnacle sits within easy reach of Negril, Ocho Rios, and Kingston, extending its relevance beyond the coastline to the island as a whole.
