On Kauaʻi’s southern coast in Poʻipū, nestled between the National Tropical Botanical Garden and historic Old Kōloa Town, Kukuiʻula spans 1,010 acres along the island’s South Shore. The private club community was designed as a multigenerational neighborhood where families build traditions grounded in land, culture and connection.

Daily life unfolds at an unhurried pace. Mornings begin with coffee on a lanai as tradewinds move through open air living spaces. Homes across nine distinct neighborhoods range from custom ocean view residences to villas, cottages and bungalows, all designed in a modern interpretation of Hawaiian plantation architecture that emphasizes indoor and outdoor flow and generous gathering spaces. The layout supports multigenerational living, allowing grandparents, parents and children to share time together while still enjoying privacy.

Kukui’ula is home to an 10-acre upcountry Farm, where a dedicated staff of farmers assists residents in harvesting seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, while supporting soil biodiversity and connecting families directly to the land. Members pick papaya and mango, attend gardening lessons and floral workshops, or join private cooking classes with Chef Ben Takahashi. At ʻUmeke Kitchen + Bar, his seasonal menus reflect ingredients grown onsite and sourced locally, with farm to table dinners and fresh pressed juices reinforcing a sense of place.

Wellness at Kukuiʻula begins at the 18,000 square foot Hiʻilani Spa and Fitness Center and extends throughout the community. The sanctuary features indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, lava rock saunas, plunge pools, a 25 meter lap pool, a gym equipped with new Technogym equipment, and more than 30 weekly fitness classes designed to support mind and body. The Hiʻilani Spa offers an array of signature treatments along with the rejuvenating Water Ritual, which includes a dry sauna, steam room, hydrotherapeutic cold plunge, and soothing Jacuzzi soak to enhance circulation, relieve fatigue, and promote recovery.

Kauaʻi, known as the Garden Island, is a jumping off point for an array of adventures. At Kukuiʻula, Huakaʻi Outfitters, a team of local guides and experts, leads residents in stand up paddleboarding, surfing, snorkeling and eFoiling on the Farm Lake. The Club recently opened pickleball courts and also offers tennis facilities.

The Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole golf course anchors the club’s recreational life. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the best courses in Hawaii, it pairs strategic play with sweeping Pacific views, and the celebrated 14th hole has become a favorite among members for both its design and the opportunity to spot spinner dolphins and humpback whales offshore.

Kukuiʻula offers robust member programming throughout the year designed to foster community and connection. In August, Kukuiʻula will host its third annual Calabash event, a weeklong celebration featuring global cuisine, exceptional wines and spirits, immersive wellness and movement experiences and live music from world renowned artists. The week culminates in the Ho‘ohuli Festival, an evening of international food stations, specialty wine pairings and a performance by world class musicians in a Nashville style songwriter showcase featuring chart topping hits and behind the scenes stories.

At Kukuiʻula, home life and club life are seamlessly intertwined, with the Farm, wellness offerings, recreation, dining and year round programming shaping the rhythm of daily living. Families move effortlessly from private lanais to shared experiences across the community, from ocean adventures and golf to spa rituals and seasonal gatherings. The result is a multigenerational coastal neighborhood where land, culture and connection are woven into everyday life, creating a deeply rooted sense of place on Kauaʻi.
