The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails to Debut in Las Vegas

NIGHTLIFE LEADERS RYAN LABBE AND JASON CRAIG BRING NEW VISION TO COSMOPOLITAN LAS VEGAS

Notable hospitality and nightlife gatekeepers, Ryan Labbe and Jason Craig of Clique Hospitality, are two men shaping the nightlife landscape now via their Clique Hospitality ventures with esteemed partner and Clique Hospitality founder Andy Masi. Their newest nightlife venture The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails about to debut at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas for Spring 2019, their second venue at Cosmopolitan, where namesake lounge CliQue lounge currently is a favorite hotspot cocktail and food destination amongst Vegas partygoers.

Currently, the duo is most well known as the duo behind behind Vegas' newest and hottest nightlife concepts, APEX Social Club and Camden Cocktail Lounge at the PALMS Casino Resort, which was a part of the recent $690 million property-wide renovation. They have a variety of venues between Las Vegas and San Diego that they are partners in. APEX Social Club, is the notable hotspot lounge located on the 55th floor of the newly renovated PALMS Casino Resort with wrap around views of the Las Vegas Strip with bold face names frequenting the venue in the sky such as Robin Thicke, Emily Ratajkowski, Travis Barker, Blake Griffin, Kendall Jenner, Ne-Yo and more. Names as such are sure to be gracing the doors and chairs of The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails.

Their latest passion project, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails will have the same core principle of their other ventures: High-level service centering on the guest and the experience. Located in the Heart of The Cosmopolitan on the casino floor, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails is a Prohibition-era bar that harkens to the days of bootlegging. The speakeasy with a parlor vibe, is a throwback to a time when whiskey and liquor were king, and word of mouth was gold. Located near the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance to The Cosmopolitan, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails will provide guests with the chance to throwback to an era in which one’s appearance was as strong as their opinions. Guests are welcomed to kick back in a barber’s chair for a classic cut, beard trim or straight razor shave, all under the helm of master barber Jose Sosa and his nationally renowned grooming team. Sosa, hailing from New York, headed to Las Vegas in 2013 where he positioned himself as a professional concierge barber. Diversifying and mastering his skill set to incorporate barbering, styling and fashion, Sosa has styled some of Las Vegas’ most notable icons. With an eye for detail, Sosa and his talented barbers will provide expert cuts from the grooming menu that range from clean and classic to wild and rebellious, while also offering guests one of the many fine-aged whiskeys from The Barbershop’s extensive selection. In addition, the duo is bringing their notable APEX brand to SuperBowl weekend, partnering with MAXIM on their annual big game weekend party in Atlanta.

The two also spearhead nightlife for Clique Hospitality's bustling San Diego venues of Poolhouse and Oxford Social Club at Pendry San Diego, the luxury hotel resort, where Clique's esteemed restaurant Lionfish helmed by chef Jojo Ruiz.

Ryan Labbe + Jason Craig - More on Vegas Nightlife’s Power Duo:

Vegas hospitality veterans Ryan Labbe + Jason Craig individually dominated the Vegas scene for years, nonetheless the two decided to make a power move by joining forces in 2012 to form the 81/82 group. Their partnership and varied expertise in the industry would prove golden with their success having curated and established DJ residencies and must-attend events for a multitude of Vegas’ hotspots.

In addition to 81/82 group’s nightlife expertise, the firm dabbled in brand launches, cross market partnerships and even into the culinary scene. From initial launches to helping curate brands such as 50 Bleu Premium Vodka to opening Lucky Foos, an off-Strip Las Vegas Restaurant & Bar the duo had their hands in a little bit of everything hospitality related.

It was very clear that the duo knew exactly what they were doing. Craig’s marketing expertise stems from his work with N9NE Group. As Director of Nightlife and Marketing, he helped oversee marketing and VIP services for seven venues. Labbe on the other hand, had a different approach to the industry. He quickly became known for his "guerrilla style" marketing, and was respected as someone willing to go over-the-top to create an experience.

As the two emerged as Vegas’ hospitality heavy hitters, it only made sense that not only bigger brands would want to collaborate with the duo but even bigger names. In 2015, Labbe & Craig partnered with hospitality mastermind Andy Masi for what would be their first of many huge projects in Las Vegas. Fast forward to 2018, and the power trio of Masi, Craig and Labbe are working on simultaneous projects, APEX SOCIAL CLUB, which took over the infamous Ghostbar space on the rooftop of the PALMS Casino Resort, and Camden Cocktail Lounge which is located on Casino level.
