A Majestic 14th Annual My Yacht Miami

Miami Art Week, that includes Art Basel, Design Miami, Art Miami, Scope, Untitled, and many more satellite fairs, has become one of the ‘must attend’ events on the annual calendar for art collectors and influencers alike.  The result is a cluttered week of non-stop parties and collabs but, as ever, quantity does not equal quality and less is often more.



Such was the case for the (U)HNW guests of My Yacht Group (MYG), known for ‘connecting the world’s most interesting people’, typically at curated dinners and aboard private superyachts, at just this sort of global gathering (think Monaco Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival, the Monterey motoring week, and more). 


With nearly 20 years of experience creating their signature MYG events around the world, fraternal twins Nicholas & Annabelle Frankl are, by now, confident in the deft touch required to successfully host the unique mix of corporate clients and discerning guests that attend.  Invitations are personal and virtually every guest aboard is 1-degree of separation, which makes for a truly special atmosphere.  The oft-uttered “how do you know Nicholas?” establishes an instant familiarity among guests, such that the receptions feel more like a party at a friend’s house, you just happen to be on a gleaming superyacht!



The setting for this 14th Miami outing was the all-new tri-deck M/Y MAJESTY, for sale by The Terraglio Group for $15.5M and, also, uniquely, available as a 4-way fractional.  With a Bahamas-friendly shallow draft, the yacht boasts huge volume with spacious lounges and expansive decks: the sundeck with its large built-in bar and Jacuzzi was the equivalent of the kitchen at any good house party, with guests gravitating to the top for dancing, live saxophone, and great views of downtown Miami and Epic Marina.


Of course, such an evening is not possible without some key partners: The occasion marked 14 out of 14 years of collaboration with MYG’s private Swiss bank partner, and welcomed new partner Capital Defense Technologies, that delivers AI and critical tech to the U.S. Dept. of Defense, and more.  Returning partner Ulyssia, the 320m (1,050-foot) masterpiece that promises to be the world’s most exclusive residential yacht community, is set to cut steel on the project in the coming months. 



The carefully curated guestlist included U.S. & international (U)HNWI, global CEO’s, sporting legend Martina Navratilova, skincare founder Peter Thomas Roth, space tech, biotech & fintech investors, superyacht, supercar, & private jet owners, art collectors, medical visionaries, & more.

 


Guests to the lively soirée were greeted by chilled, large format Whispering Angel and Garrus rosé and caviar, sumptuous catering, and custom Enchanted Rock vodka and Rebecca Creek Whiskey cocktails while the evening raised awareness for YachtAid Global that provides humanitarian aid, disaster response leadership, and consultation for superyachts that want to contribute to the world around them.
