Seasonal Cocktails to Get Into the Holiday Spirit

There is nothing better than spending time in the kitchen with friends. This year, while your guests are busy warming up dishes they have brought to share, grab your cocktail shaker and try your hand at any one of the below seasonal cocktails.

Hornitos Hot Toddy



Perfect for after the meal while sitting by the fireplace.


Ingredients:

1 ½ parts Hornitos Tequila (any expression)

½ part Triple Sec

½ part honey

½ part fresh squeezed lemon juice

5 parts hot water

Pinch of cinnamon

Directions:

Fill mug up to the top with hot water and allow to temper for 45 seconds. Dump hot water and refill with 5 parts fresh hot water. Add rest of ingredients and stir up until maple syrup is fully dissolved.

Garnish (optional):

Fresh grated cinnamon, apple slice,

lemon wheel



Spiced Espresso Martini

The perfect after dinner cocktail to fend off the tryptophan induced nap.


Ingredients

1.5 oz Don Papa

1 oz Espresso

0.5 oz Grand Marnier

0.25 oz Mr. Black


Directions:

Add ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake and strain into a coup glass

Served up. Garnished w 3 espresso beans and one zest of orange.

Rimmed w old bay seasoning salt.


Fire and Ice Shooter



Guaranteed to keep you warm!


Ingredients:

1 oz Chambord

1 oz Jack Daniels Fire

Whipped Cream

Ground Cinnamon


Directions:

Place the Chambord and Jack Daniels Fire into a shaker tin along with some ice and shake well. Strain into shooter glass, top with whipped cream and a touch of ground cinnamon.


Crown Royal Maple Apple



The perfect Dessert cocktail.


Ingredients:


6 oz Crown Royal Regal Apple

3 apples, sliced

1 cup water

6 oz apple cider

1 lemon, juiced

2.5 Tbsp maple syrup

1 - 2 tsp granulated sugar

Apple slices, cinnamon, and thyme sprigs for garnish


Directions:

Process apples, water, cider, lemon juice, maple syrup and sugar

in a blender until smooth.

Pour mixture through a sieve into a pitcher. Stir in whisky and chill for an hour or two.

Pour over ice and garnish. Serves 5.



Guinness Black Velvet



Bubbles anyone?


Ingredients:

Half a flute of Champagne

Half a flute of Guinness® Extra Stout


Directions:

Pour Guinness Draught into a champagne flute.

Add champagne carefully, so it does not mix with the Guinness and serve



The BEARFACE Buck



The perfect drink for outdoor celebrations.


Ingredients:


2 oz BEARFACE Whisky

5 oz ginger beer

Cinnamon stick

Lime


Directions:

Pour BEARFACE over chunky rocks, top up with ginger beer and add a cinnamon stick. Serve in a camping mug.


Doya Gimlet



Enjoy this cocktail, shaken…not stirred.


Ingredients: Yield: 1


2oz Canaima Gin Dill Infused

1/4oz Lemon & Lime

1/2 Oz Simple Syrup

3/4oz (Or 3 Sprays) Yeni Raki

Directions:

Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Pour ingredients through strainer into a chilled martini glass or glass of choice. Finish with 3 sprays of Raki and garnish with dill.



Redemption Holiday Punch

Serves 10-12



When hosting a large group, this holiday punch will keep them coming back

for more.


Ingredients:


50oz Redemption Wheated Bourbon

24oz Fresh Lemon Juice

12oz Honey

4 tbsp Minced Ginger

1 tbsp Clove


Directions:

Mix all ingredients into punch bowl.

Serve with a large ice cube block

Garnish with edible flowers, cinnamon and orange peel


Sparkling Apple Pie



Proof that pie isn’t always served on a plate.


Ingredients:

3 oz Smirnoff ICE Red, White & Merry Orchard Punch

1 oz Smirnoff Vanilla

3 oz Apple Cider

Apple slice (garnish)

Directions:

Stir together Apple Cider with Smirnoff Vanilla and pour into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with Smirnoff ICE Red, White & Merry Orchard Punch. Garnish with a thin apple slice.


Roe & Quito



For whiskey lovers…


Ingredients:

1.5 oz Roe & Co

1.5 oz coconut cream

1.0 oz maple syrup

Guinness Stout

Whole egg

Directions:

Dry shake, rocks shake, pour into Nick and Nora glass, and topper with one ounce of Guinness, with nutmeg and cinnamon to garnish
